(01) THE DECK
Same eight cards. Two worlds.
Deal through the cards, from research to release. Tap the front card to turn the deck over and see the same stage in the other world.
- The Recce. Rufus: An 1894 map of Saddleworth, and the 1953 calendar. Learn the ground before drawing it. Kaia: Human and AI accounts, studied for what makes people follow and what makes brands pay.
- The Bible. Rufus: Nothing after 1953 exists. No word, object or event he could not have known. Kaia: Who she is, how she talks and what never appears. Every shoot reads this first.
- Face Lock. Rufus: Character sheets and a style anchor, so a clay face holds in every scene. Kaia: A face model trained on 21 chosen images, then trained again as version 2.
- Storyboard. Rufus: One camera path, four seasons. First and last frames planned before any video. Kaia: Every shoot starts as a sheet: 5 photos, 4 clips, one idea, one accent colour.
- The Shoot. Rufus: Directed frame by frame. Real skin came back, so I rejected it. Puppet first. Kaia: Real places, editorial light. Hands stay simple. One prop. No text in the frame.
- Motion. Rufus: Arrival films, reels and a short film, all from approved stills. Kaia: 5-second clips, cut into reels of about 21 seconds. Each opens like a magazine cover.
- Sound. Rufus: Field recordings, made effects, weather rules. Then five chapters written for radio. Kaia: One track per issue, chosen to fit the cut and added in the app.
- Release. Rufus: 99.7 FM three times a week, plus YouTube and the Sunday post. Kaia: Instagram and TikTok on a weekly plan. An AI label on every post.

A man who lives in 1953
A clay character in a story told one day at a time. Site, films, print and real radio on 99.7 FM. What it proves: I can hold one voice across every channel.
